i had a lovely new year's eve party with my dear friends from my d&d group! not everyone could come, because the roads were not great, but there were some good pals there, plus my boyfriend, so it worked out great.

we played betrayal at baldur's gate, which is similar to betrayal at the house on the hill if you've heard of it, only in a d&d setting. i'd never played before, but i totally understand why people like it--it was great fun! it felt like playing a one shot, only shorter and without all the prep work. so i'd definitely play again, and y'all should try it out if you get the opportunity.

we watched some anime for a while after that--some death note, because it'd been a while since any of us had seen it, and then some aldnoah 0, because it was there and we couldn't agree on what else to watch. aldnoah 0 came off to me immediately as--i think i phrased it as 'i can't believe it's not code geass' but it is interesting! i'm enjoying it thus far, and the dialogue really has its moments.

aaaaaaaaaaand I GOT A NEW YEAR'S KISS! i've never had one before! i'm gonna have good luck all year!
